The Smiley Manse Draw Along!

Hello and Happy September! As we round the corner to our last retreat of the season (Fall Florals with Victoria Johnson—we hope you'll join us!), things here at The Smiley are starting to settle. We're already deep in the planning stages for 2027: reviewing your generous survey feedback (more on that soon!), finalizing our fantastic roster of teaching artists, and refining the little details to make your time here as delightful as we possibly can.

In the meantime, we thought it would be fun to host a Smiley Draw Along! This creative community means the world to us, now more than ever. We know that there are many of you who would like to join us here in beautiful Vermont, but the stars haven't aligned just right yet—so, let's make some art side-by-side virtually.

Using the images of The Smiley art retreat grounds in this email as inspiration, get out your materials of choice and create something—a spread in your sketchbook, a quick pen drawing, a painting, a piece of fiber art, mini sculpture, etc. Take 5, 15, 30 minutes, or more! Know that we're over here doing the same.
