OUR POLICIES

Fees and Refunds

  • Trip insurance is HIGHLY recommended in case you are unable to attend the retreat.

  • In the unlikely event, a retreat leader is unable to attend, the event may be led by Jennifer or another suitable leader.

  • A signed waiver and 50% deposit are due upon signing up for any retreat.  This deposit is non-refundable but can be transferred if cancellation is 90 days before the retreat start. You may also opt to pay in full when signing up.

  • The final 50% retreat fee is due 90 days before the retreat.

  • Nighttime activities are optional and are not included in the retreat price (for example, if we go to a restaurant for dinner, you will be responsible to pay for your meal).

COVID Policy

  • All participants must be fully vaccinated.

  • If you need to cancel due to COVID, we cannot provide a refund. We will however, apply your fees toward a future retreat upon request.  We also recommend travel insurance that covers COVID.

Transportation and Accommodations

  • You are responsible for your transportation to and from The Smiley.

  • Accommodations are not provided at The Smiley.  We have recommendations for lodging here.

The Smiley Manse Property

  • The majority of the retreat will be spent outdoors or in the barn’s Art Studio.

  • The Smiley Manse is not currently ADA compliant (though we hope to be in future years).  If you have special needs, please let us know and we will try to accommodate you.

Additional Policies

  • By registering, all participants agree for The Smiley Manse to use their likenesses and their art in photos and videos for promotion.
